Waterbug

The WaterBug is a stand alone water alarm which is completely
electronic in design. Therefore, there are no slow to react floats or
tricky mechanical actions to get dirty or stick. Stop worrying about
damage caused by undetected leaks from sump pumps, washing
machines, etc. The WaterBug will promptly alert you as soon as a
flooding problem occurs. The WaterBug operates on one 9 volt
alkaline battery (not included). The battery will last about one year
and the WaterBug has a low battery indicator to let you know when
it is time for a new battery. Operating Range: +32°F to 140°F.

Wireless Motion Alerts are very popular units because they are easy to install and will detect both vehicles and people walking. The radio operated drive alert consists of 2 parts - a transmitter and a receiver with 1 whistle. The receiver can be located in your house and plugged into a standard wall outlet. The weatherproof outside transmitter, operated by a 9 volt battery that normally lasts 6 months to 1 year, should be located in the area of your driveway. The transmitter sends out an invisible beam approximately 80 feet. The beam may be pointed in any direction since there is no reflector needed at the end of the beam. If a vehicle or person enters this area, the transmitter, which detects motion will send a radio signal up to 1000’* back to the receiver in the house. This sounds a small whistle for approximately 3 seconds to alert you and then shuts off automatically. In the event that you do not want the whistle to sound at any particular time, the receiver is equiped with an on-off switch.
