Wireless Motion Alert 3000

The WMA-3000 is the next step in the evolution of the driveway alarm. We have taken our years of experience and created the ultimate in wireless systems. The transmitter operates on one 9-volt battery and is easily mounted on a tree or post near the drive. The transmitter uses a passive infrared (PIR) beam to detect people or vehicles to a distance of up to 80 feet, then sends a radio signal back to the WR-3000 receiver up to 3,000 feet away*. The transmitter is weather proof and meant for exterior locations. Up to four zones can be monitored with additional transmitters. The transmitters can be programmed so they will each sound a diff erent tone at the receiver.

The WR-3000 is the receiver for the WMA-3000 system. The WR-3000 plugs into a standard wall outlet and can be placed on a table or mounted on the wall. When the receiver gets a signal from the transmitter, one of four diff erent tones (Classical, Westminster Chime, Ding Dong, or Whistle) will sound for a few seconds. There is also a volume control, allowing you to set the sound to the desired level. The WR-3000 is equipped with four form “C” relays (one for each zone), and one 12-volt DC output terminal that will activate for several seconds when a signal is received. The receiver can be user-programmed, so the 12-volt DC terminal and one relay will activate for 10 minutes, if this is desired. The tones will still sound for several seconds.

Light/Timer Control

The timer control, when activated by our wireless drive alert, is normally used for security reasons. It has the ability to turn on lights, etc., and they can be set to stay on for two, five or ten minutes and shut off automatically. The control unit has an on/off switch should you choose not to use it. Installation is very easy - just plug the timer control into a standard wall outlet and plug the timer line cord into the drive alert receiver. The timer control can turn on up to 250 watts of light.

Loud Ringing Bell

This 6" bell can be used with any of our driveway alarms. This bell can be used outside, but may also be used inside for those with hearing problems. If used in conjunction with our light/timer control, it may be programmed to ring up to one hour.

Siren

This horn can be activated by any of our driveway alarms, it can be used outside or placed inside for people with hearing problems. If used in conjunction with our light/timer control, it may be programmed to ring up to one hour.

Line Carriers

These are designed to send a remote signal from one building to another, providing that all locations are downstream from one power transformer. Plug the transmitter into a 110 volt outlet in one building, and throughout your existing power lines, it will trip the receiver in another building. The transmitter can be activated by a driveway alarm. A loud bell or light plugged into the receiver would be activated.

At Dakota Alert, we have been distributing and manufacturing driveway alarms for over 20 years. We have the experience necessary to meet your needs. Our product lines include Wireless Motion Drive Alerts, Wireless Rubber hose drive alerts, Vehicle Sensors, Weather Alert products and much more. Wireless Motion Alerts are very popular units because they are easy to install and will detect both vehicles and people walking. The radio operated drive alert consists of 2 parts - a transmitter and a receiver with 1 whistle. The receiver can be located in your house and plugged into a standard wall outlet. The weatherproof outside transmitter, operated by a 9 volt battery that normally lasts 6 months to 1 year, should be located in the area of your driveway. The transmitter sends out an invisible beam approximately 80 feet. The beam may be pointed in any direction since there is no reflector needed at the end of the beam. If a vehicle or person enters this area, the transmitter, which detects motion will send a radio signal up to 1000’* back to the receiver in the house. This sounds a small whistle for approximately 3 seconds to alert you and then shuts off automatically. In the event that you do not want the whistle to sound at any particular time, the receiver is equiped with an on-off switch.
